DESIGNED FOR LEARNING

From a reaction
to a reason.

Build confidence with the practical chemistry behind your course, at your own pace.

01

A bench you control

Move your glassware, measure reagents and pour by hand. Precipitates form as you mix; filtering, stirring and dissolution make the changes visible.

02

Experiments with a purpose

Follow guided investigations or explore the sandbox. Dedicated stations cover electrolysis, titration, reaction rates and separation techniques.

03

Progress you can return to

Save your work to your account, reopen your bench and practise with original questions. LabSpace+ adds detailed learning analytics.

GUIDED INVESTIGATIONS

Recognise the reaction.
Explain the evidence.

Clear experiment names connect each practical to the chemistry you need to revise.

Chemical analysis

Copper(II) hydroxide precipitation

Observe a pale blue solid and explain the net ionic equation.

Electrochemistry

Electrolysis of copper(II) sulfate

Compare electrode products with graphite and copper electrodes.

Acids and bases

Hydrochloric acid–sodium hydroxide titration

Measure a titre and compare the endpoint of different indicators.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few practical questions.

Do I need to sign in?

Yes. Begin on the homepage and use your Google account. Free access includes the sandbox and selected guided investigations.

Can I mix chemicals freely?

You can move vessels, measure reagents and pour by hand. The laboratory uses a curated chemistry model and identifies mixtures it cannot predict.

What does LabSpace+ add?

The complete current library, all reagents, advanced stations and apparatus, including methyl orange, litmus solution and paper, and thymolphthalein. It also adds account saves without a count limit, practice questions and learning analytics.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. Manage billing in My account opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation at the end of a paid period keeps eligible access until that period ends.

Is this an official Cambridge resource?

LabSpace is an independent learning platform for selected practical topics. Its questions are original, and it is not affiliated with Cambridge International.
