Provider and service

LabSpace is in preview. The merchant’s identity and support contact must be published before paid subscriptions open.

LabSpace is an independent virtual chemistry learning platform for selected Cambridge IGCSE 0620 and 0971 practical topics. It is not affiliated with Cambridge International. Its questions are original teaching material. The simulator identifies unsupported mixtures and uses simplified teaching models; it is not a complete chemistry engine or a replacement for teacher-supervised practical work.

Free and LabSpace+

Free includes the mixing sandbox, 31 reagents, 11 apparatus types, eight guided investigations, five saved account experiments, three practice questions and a limited unknown-salt sampler. LabSpace+ includes the current 65-investigation library, 133 reagents, 26 apparatus types, specialist stations, the complete 51-salt identification practice, the available Cambridge modules, 81 practice questions and exam-question learning analytics.

Plus has no saved-experiment count limit; record size and service rate limits apply. Unknown-practice reports are currently stored in the browser and can be exported. Additional exam boards and an AI tutor are planned features, and are not part of the current subscription.

Billing and renewal

The initial LabSpace+ plan is €100 per year, billed annually. The selected amount, currency and interval are displayed before purchase and on Stripe Checkout. The subscription renews annually until cancelled. Any tax calculated through the configured Stripe tax settings is shown at checkout. Stripe test-mode purchases do not collect live payments or grant membership in the live billing environment.

Plus access begins when the server verifies an eligible active subscription. A success URL alone does not grant access. Failed, expired or cancelled subscriptions can revert to Free access. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to manage paid purchases.

Cancellation and payment problems

Open My account → Manage billing to view invoices, update a payment method or cancel. The launch billing portal is configured to cancel at the end of the paid period, so eligible active access continues until that period ends. Existing account experiments remain readable and exportable after a downgrade; the Free save allowance applies to new saves.

For a billing error, cancellation problem or refund request, contact A public support address will be available before paid subscriptions open. Include the account email, approximate payment date and a brief description. Do not send full card details. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected.

Using the laboratory

Use your own authenticated account and keep private account and payment information out of experiment notes. The simulated reagents and observations are for virtual learning. Real chemical experiments require appropriate laboratory supervision and risk assessment.

Before subscriptions open

The merchant must confirm these service terms, public contact details, tax arrangements and privacy information before live checkout is enabled. These pages are the current service description; the preview status above identifies whether that review has been completed.
